Residents of Lewiston, Idaho, will see a new Harley-Davidson dealership moving into town soon, taking the place of a vacant car lot.
Dealer principals Beth and Greg Ernst will call the new store Hells Canyon Harley-Davidson and will operate a full-service dealership there. The area has been without a Harley dealership since Shumate Harley-Davidson closed and went into bankruptcy in 2009.
"It's going to be a really exciting dealership," Beth Ernst told KLEW. "We're going to have events that are going to be for all of the riders and also for their families."
The building already on the property will be expanded and renovated to look like the buildings of downtown Lewiston. The Ernsts already own Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson in Washington’s Spokane Valley; they closed stores in Spokane and Coeur D’Alene and consolidated them into that store.
