FREDERICK, Md. – A new shop has opened to offer service, repair and customization for American V-twins.

“Our biggest attribute to the shop and what makes us unique is the ability to offer highly trained and experienced mechanics at a lower rate than our competitors,” Chris Beall, owner of American Iron Speed & Cycle, told the Frederick News-Post. “Our lead mechanic is a fully certified master-trained Harley-Davidson technician who went through rigorous training before working for the local Harley shop and then ran his own shop for nine years. He is educated, talented, reliable and knows how to wrench on anything you bring him. Most small affordable shops can’t offer that kind of extensive training and/or experience combined.”

Beall and his wife own two other small businesses, which he says gives them experience and contacts to make the new venture a success.

“We are also very active in the local business community, which ties heavily into the motorcycle community as well, believe it or not,” he said. “This gives us a huge headstart in terms of reaching the right people and establishing a customer base.“
