New Washington store is Cycle Gear's 97th

BENICIA, Calif., Cycle Gear, Inc., says it has opened its 97th retail store and its fifth in Washington with the opening of a new store in Lynnwood.

"We take pride in supporting motorcyclists nationwide, and the Lynnwood store is in a great location to help serve the greater Seattle area," said CEO Dave Bertram.

To celebrate the opening, Cycle Gear will host a benefit night from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17 and will donate 10 percent of sales to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Representatives of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation will be on site providing more information as well as signing people up for the Sept. 9 Puget Sound Ride for Kids.

In addition to the benefit, there will be special deals all month long exclusive to the Lynnwood location. Various vendors will be on site for the grand opening weekend Aug. 18, and there will be weekly drawings for $100 gift cards. A grand prize drawing will be held Sept. 5 in which the winners could receive a Shoei helmet, $500 shopping spree, or a GoPro HD Hero2 camera. Lynnwood will also be hosting its first bike Night" Aug. 28 with exclusive in-store pricing, food, fun, and giveaways.
