Two dealerships are helping a police officer in Garner, N.C., who founded a cancer charity and is raising money for it.

Officer Lennie S. Behe founded The Bucket List Dream Foundation after his mother was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer. The mission is to help people in similar situations by granting last wishes.

A May 7 ride to benefit the group will start with 9 a.m. registration at Ray Price Harley-Davidson, a Dealernews Top 100 Dealer based in Raleigh; the ride will finish around noon at Team Powersports in Garner, with free lunch and door prizes. There will be a raffle and a prize valued at $6,000 given to the rider who gets the most sponsors.

There’s a $5 discount for preregistration online, where sponsorship forms are also available for download.
