The week has been filled with meetings with insurance adjusters, engineers and structural contractors to discuss partial demolition. “Inside, it looks like a bomb went off,” co-owner Brian Berhow told the Albert Lea Tribune.
The full extent of the damage was unknown, as some vehicles were still under rubble.
The roof of the center section of the 19,000-square-foot building caved in under the weight of heavy snow last Friday afternoon.
The dealer’s website has a message referring customers to the phone line. The business planned to monitor an answering machine and find a new place to set up computers. Staff is available by cell phone.
“Hopefully, our customers will remain patient and loyal to us,” Berhow said.
