Orlando Harley-Davidson puts on the Mouse ears

Orlando Harley-Davidson has opened a newly expanded Harley-Davidson PG&A store at Downtown Disney, bringing its total to seven stores in Central Florida.

The 3,635-sq.-ft. store was designed to create a "unique interactive Harley environment featuring the sights, sounds and excitement of riding for all ages," according to the website.

The store features a 40-foot tower with massive LCD/LED screens showing riding footage from area attractions and beaches. It also sports custom murals, motorcycle-inspired sculpture and custom tank art.

Among the interactive exhibits are the motorcycle production studio, where visitors can mount a Harley and have a photo taken in front of green-screen backgrounds like Daytona Beach or Route 66. There is a “create a custom vest” area where customers can personalize a H-D vest with pins and patches. The store also has a full-time seamstress to sew patches on while customers wait.
