JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gear supplier Oxford Products has opened a United States distribution facility and announced it is staffing and stocking for business.

Executives, including head of U.S. operations Eric McFarlane, who leads the company’s Team America, was at the facility this week to receive the first shipments of stock after the doors were opened for business.

“This is a momentous occasion for everyone connected to Oxford Products. I must congratulate Eric and his team on the extraordinary achievement of establishing an operating OPUSA in such a short period of time,” said Oxford Products founder and chairman Alec Hammond (shown at right with McFarlane).

The company settled into the Center Point Business Park, which affords the company offices with 17 dedicated parking spaces, a lake and fountain. In addition to generous office and warehousing space, there is also a showroom.

The company also reportedly bought a truck big enough to tow a promotional trailer to dealer and bike events. The company noted the new foothold is a prelude to the Oxford’s 40th anniversary in a few months.
