Pennsylvania's YTI Career Institute has expanded its motorcycle- technician-training program.
The school recently opened a new complex in Manchester Township that'll be able to accommodate 190 budding technicians with three main labs feature new shop equipment and about a dozen motorcycles.
The program previously operated out of a garage that could accommodate only about 60 students. School officials say the expansion is a response to demand from motorcycle dealerships for skilled service-technicians.
YTI's main campus is in Springettsbury Township, York County. The school, owned by Liberty Partners, a private-equity firm based in New York City, also is expanding marketing of its program to a nationwide audience. Tuition for the nine-month program is $20,550, plus charges for tools and supplies.
