Parts NVP Update: Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties Reps Assemble in Wisconsin

Hundreds of Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties dealer representatives from all over the nation are assembled in Madison, Wisc., this week to learn about new products and programs the distributor and 167 of its vendors have planned for the coming year.

 

The five-day National Vendor Presentation (NVP), which started Aug. 19, is LeMans Corporation's major sales meeting of the year, includes vendor presentations, and concludes Aug. 23 with the company's Dealer Showcase.

The event opened with Parts Unlimited reps from the Southwest, North, Central, Northeast, Northwest and South Central/Southeast regions hearing presentations from nine firms: Saddlemen, Arlen Ness, Progressive Suspension, Memphis Shades, Smith, Dynojet, Scorpio, Z1R apparel and Wiseco.

 

>On Thursday, reps heard from AFX North America, AGV SpA, Nolan, Z1R, Icon and Suomy SpA, and from Jardine, Vance & Hines, Yoshimura, Akrapovic, FMF and Roland Sands Design (RSD).

Friday's presentations come from Metzeler, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Michelin, Avon, Continental, Duro and ITP, and Saturday's schedule includes presentations from Alpinestars, Thor, Moose Racing and Icon apparel.

 

Following a schedule different from their Parts Unlimited counterparts, Drag Specialties reps also are hearing from vendors S&S, Jim's Machining, Burly, Performance Machine, Klock Werks, Lindby Customs, Feuling Oil Pumps, Alloy Art, K&N, Jay Brake, RC Components, Hogtunes, Battistini's Custom Cycles, Samson, Belt Drives Ltd., SuperTrapp and Bassani.
