CARSON CITY, Nev. - Get the bad-ass looks of a super-stretched custom hardtail frame without the pain and suffering of a rigid.
Paughco is offering complete frames in various custom arrangements, now available in EZ-Ride variants that make use of Softail-style swingarms to ensure adequate comfort and road-holding without sacrificing style.
EZ-Ride frames can be special-ordered for a variety of Harley-Davidson engines, neck rakes, backbone and downtube lengths. Paughco said its frames are also available in wider widths to fit larger rear rubber, up to a 250 width rear tire when running a chain conversion, or a 240 with a 1.5 inch belt drive. EZ-Ride frames start around $1,100.
For riders looking for a more straightforward replacement, Paughco also makes OEM-style stock replacement frames. The FLT chassis uses all the stock H-D components as would the factory frame, including the engine, transmission, suspension and original bodywork. Paughco’s FLT frame retails for $2,095.95.
