Police in Parma, Ohio, are investigating a chop shop operation they say spans the northern part of the state.
Police say a victim told them he saw his stolen motorcycle for sale on EBay, and the people at the other end of the listing were part of a huge ring stealing motorcycles and ATV's.
Cuyahoga County prosecutors told 19 Action News the ring went all over northeast Ohio and stole at least $170,000 worth of vehicles, selling some intact and parting others out.
"They have guys that steal and guys that disassemble and then they all share in the profits," J.D. May, Asst. Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, told the station.
County prosecutors filed indictments for those involved under racketeering laws.
