Piaggio Group: Six Brands, Dozens of Options

MILAN – The Piaggio Group’s six brands showed dozens of bikes here at the manufacturer’s “hometown” show. Those depicted below are among the latest offerings, ranging from a diminutive motorized bicycle to a 1200cc long-range tourer.

Highlights included the Aprilia Mana X, Vespa GTV250ie with sidecar, Derbi DH 2.0, Piaggio MP3 Hybrid and Gilera GP850 Corsa Prototype. Check ‘em out:

The radical 839cc V-twin Aprilia Mana X, a 383-lb. bike producing 55hp at 8000rpm

The 278cc Carnaby Cruiser 300 scooter from Piaggio

The 124cc MP3 Hybrid, producing 15hp, comes with four drive modes: two hybrid and two electric. The lithium battery charges from braking and deceleration on the move, and from a battery charger integrated in on-board electronics.
