NEW YORK, N.Y. - Piaggio dealers are being asked to make preparations now for the much-touted arrival of the Vespa 946, set to hit showrooms in November.
The limited-edition 946 boasts a three-valve 150cc engine, ASR traction control and advanced ABS. It has a 6,000-mile maintenance schedule. The scooter has an MSRP of $9,946.
Piaggio reportedly has rolled out a special program that includes stocking bonuses and extended flooring terms for franchised dealers who order at least three 946s by April 30. Piaggio dealers are instructed to contact their regional managers for information.
