Piaggio unveils online ad campaign

PIAGGIO HAS LAUNCHED an interactive online Vespa campaign that allows viewers to register for special offers and contests. 

By clicking around the ads, viewers can register to win a Vespa S 50, sign up for a free Vespa vintage T-shirt and even listen to Vespa-branded radio stations via Pandora.com, an Internet radio service. These Vespa ads are running on more than 120 music, electronics, art and social networking websites.

The ad campaign focuses on the environmentally friendly aspect of two-wheeled transportation, with taglines like "Turns on a Dime, Runs on a Nickel" and "Smart Looks. Smarter Purchase." Vespa takes its campaign one step further by allowing viewers to e-mail or download postcard versions of ads to share with friends and family.
