CAVE CREEK, Ariz. – An entrepreneur has won approval from the Cave Creek Planning Commission to open a motorcycle repair shop.

Cameron Smith told the panel he’s wanted to open a shop in the community for 15 years but a suitable space was not available until now. He requested a special use permit (SUP) for a motorcycle repair shop at a vacant 3,000 sq. ft. property that once housed an auto shop and later a cabinet business.

Smith plans for the shop to be open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

The commissioners eventually approved the SUP, with conditions that the shop not use an alley behind it and keeps noise down, according to the Sonoran News.
