Polaris recalls 2013 Ranger 400 to fix throttle

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Polaris is recalling the 2013 Polaris Ranger 400 because its throttle can fail to operate properly, causing the rider to lose control.

No incidents have been reported.

The recall affects about 327 units with model number R13RH45AG (printed in the owner’s manual) and vehicle identification numbers between 4XARH45A3D4726305 and 4XARH45A7DE648444.

Not all VINs in this range are included in the recall. To check a VIN, use the “Search Your VIN” feature on Polaris’ website.

Consumers are being told to stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Polaris to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting customers directly.
