Polaris Recalls 7,200 Sleds
Polaris Industries Inc. is recalling about 7,200 snowmobiles for fuel lines that can make contact with one another, which could result in a fuel leak and pose a fire hazard.
The recall involves model year 2007, 2008 and 2009 Polaris snowmobiles with Clean Fire Injection (CFI) and a left-hand pump flange assembly. Manufactured in the United States, the models were sold by Polaris dealers nationwide from September 2006 through March 2009 for about $8,600.
The OEM has received eight reports of fuel leaks. No fires or injuries have been reported.
Polaris has notified registered consumers directly about this recall and asked them to immediately stop using the product and contact any Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair.
