Police arrest one, recover three motorcycles in dealer robbery

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Police have arrested one man and are seeking additional suspects in the theft of three motorcycles from Eckenhoff Automotive.

Two of the bikes were recovered just blocks from the dealership. The 21-year-old suspect who was arrested admitted to breaking into the dealership with two others and stealing the bikes, two of which were found early Saturday morning, police told Cherry Hill Patch.

Officers contacted the bikes' owners, who told police both had been in for service at Eckenhoff, police said. The third bike was recovered during the suspect's arrest, police said.

The person arrested faces charges of burglary, conspiracy, theft, possession of a stun gun and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The suspect was taken to the Camden County Jail in lieu of $47,500 bail.
