Police seek answers in bizarre dealership crash

A Massachusetts man crashed his Harley-Davidson through a garage door at Seacoast Harley-Davidson in an accident that left him in serious condition, authorities say.

The bike owner picked his bike up after getting it serviced, wished the staff a happy holiday and left, Police Chief Brian Page told the Hampton Union.

Half an hour later, store employees found the man on the ground near a service area, according to Page.

"He'd gone through a garage door out back," Page says. "It's about a couple hundred feet from the main building."

Page said no one on scene heard or saw the incident, and the motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Exeter Hospital with "serious injuries." Family members have been notified about the accident, which remains under investigation, he says.
