PowerSports Network Adds Video Capabilities

POWERSPORTS NETWORK has a new addition to its stable of dealer offerings. Web Site Flix allows subscribers to upload and manage videos to their websites. According to PSN National Sales Manager Dave Valentine, the move was made to combat the shrinking consumer attention span. “They want as much information in as little time as possible,” Valentine said in a news release. “What’s more, they want to be entertained while getting that information.”

Videos can be up to 80 MB, and can be titled and tagged to help with the website’s SEO. They’re uploaded into a library, but can be embedded on sales pages for specific models and products. Potential customers viewing videos can click on links to request quotes and get specs. PSN says that the new video tool is affordable and priced well under most tools currently on the market, which can fetch hundreds of dollars monthly.
