Track day provider Pacific Track Time has been sold to AFM racer, PG&A dealer and lifetime enthusiast Ken Casey.
Casey started doing track days in the early 2000s, becoming a PTT instructor in 2005, and he holds a race license with the American Federation of Motorcyclists. In addition, he owns Powersports Supply Warehouse, the at-track tire and parts vendor operating at all Pacific Track Time track day events.
Casey credited former PTT owner Michael Earnest with innovations and operations that are have become the industry standard for motorcycle track days. “Pacific Track Time has proven to be the leader of motorcycle track days on the West Coast,” new owner and GM Casey says. “I've had the opportunity to work side by side with Michael and I am excited to continue to make PTT the leader of innovative ideas.”
Earnest will stay on to help with the management transition and day-to-day operations as a consultant. The company will retain its structure and service operations. Pacific Track Time’s 2012 season calendar will be announced shortly.
