The company said the kit “represents the peak of front-end handling for the venerable XL and replaces the sloppy open bath internals with high-pressure gas-charged dampers.”
The new kit features a set of Monotube cartridges and custom-tuned fork springs in stock and lowered versions retailing for $339.95 and $399.95, respectively.
Monotube-style damping reportedly increases resistance to front brake dive and improves ride comfort, front-end stability, and cornering and bottoming control.
Applications are most 2004-and-newer Sportster models. No mods are required for the “relatively simple” install.
