DEALER WEBSITE provider PowerSports Network now offers a Premium Mobile service to help dealers customize their mobile websites. PSN also has released a free PSN Maintenance iPhone app to help dealers manage inventory on all their websites.

PSN claims that nearly one-fourth of all traffic to PSN websites now originate from a mobile device.

“Mobile adoption isn’t slowing down, and dealerships need to make sure they’re providing the best shopping experience on their full website and mobile website,” said Gwyn Price, vice president of sales and marketing for Dominion Powersports Solutions, PSN’s parent company. “PowerSports Network’s new Premium Mobile service allows dealerships to extend the branding on their full website to their mobile-friendly site. We want to help dealers make the best impression even before buyers come to their stores.”

PSN began offering dealerships a mobile-friendly website two years ago as an addition to their full website. Consumers could view inventory, view promotions and events, and find other pertinent store information.

Premium Mobile service is an upgrade. According to PSN, its design team will “inject the dealership’s personality into their mobile site with graphic elements including a custom-designed banner [and] customized navigation and color scheme.”

PSN’s new iPhone app helps dealers streamline their inventory upload process. With the PSN Maintenance app, dealers can photograph units as they arrive at the dealership and upload pictures directly to their website inventory from their iPhone, iPad or iTouch. In addition to updating inventory in real time, dealers can use the app to access their inventory for a quick reference on specifications and availability.

“Our new PSN Maintenance iPhone app eliminates the time-consuming steps in adding inventory photos to website listings,” said Price. “By using our new app, dealers are able to speed the process of sending photos critical to the inventory sales process from their mobile device to the Web. This process ultimately improves dealership efficiency and increases lead opportunities by quickly replacing stock photos with actual pictures of inventory.”

PSN dealers interested in the Premium Mobile service can contact their Client Services Account Representative at 800-556-0314.

PSN dealers can access the free PSN Maintenance iPhone app immediately by downloading the app from the iTunes Store.
