Racing Batteries USA recently formed two partnerships designed to help popularize the company’s specialized lightweight lithium ion batteries.
The first of the two new endeavors has Racing Batteries USA partnered with the California Superbike School, making batteries available to students who’ve attended the sportbike courses and want to up their machine’s competitiveness during track days or racing events.
The second partnership was established in the off-road market, with ZipTy Racing using Racing Batteries product in all of the disciplines in which they compete – EnduroCross, WORCS, Best in the Desert, and more – and selling the product via their online store at www.ziptyracing.com.
The company says its range of lightweight batteries replace heavy lead-acid units with “the latest in safe, lightweight Lithium Ion Nano Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology.” Not only are Racing Batteries much lighter than a standard AGM (typically 1/3 the weight) but – made of 150 PCA cells instead of 120 amp cells – they are also more powerful than any other lithium units.
Racing Batteries’ applications are available for on and off-road motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, SxS vehicles, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, karts and performance-oriented passenger vehicles.
