A bill that would end the ban on Sunday motorcycle sales in Indiana is on its way to Gov. Mitch Daniels’ desk.
Daniels, who rides around the state on a motorcycle painted with images from the state flag, is expected to approve the bill.
The Republican-controlled House voted 68-31 Monday to eliminate the state's prohibition on Sunday motorcycle sales, according to the Northwest Indiana Times. The Republican-controlled Senate approved Senate Bill 192 in January, 37-13.
State Rep. Ed Soliday, R-Valparaiso, the House sponsor, expects motorcycle sales to increase once the ban is lifted.
