REV’IT has no plans to take the winter off, with several new lines debuting over the colder riding months.

Leading the charge is a new all-season two-piece textile design that combines innovative waterproofing technology with four-season flexibility.

The Poseidon GTX jacket ($899.99) and matching pants ($629.99) start with the peerless Gore-Tex brand for absolute waterproofing and excellent breathability.

While a detachable insulating liner keeps the rider warm, the suit’s more advanced features actually shine once the weather heats up.

The Gore-Tex membrane is laminated to the outer shell, significantly reducing overall weight. And because the membrane is part of the outer shell, a clever ventilation system is able to maximize cooling airflow.

The VCS Aquadefence system uses sealable flaps that can be opened and secured using compact magnetic closures. Once opened, the panels allow airflow directly into the inner chassis of the jacket, bypassing the Gore-Tex membrane completely. The pants make use of a similar system on the upper thighs.

And like nearly all REV’IT protective apparel, the system is upgradable with the Challenger Cooling Vest ($89.99) for truly hot weather and the Seesoft Back Protector ($49.99) for additional spine protection.

For the adventure-seeking female riders, REV’IT has created an adventure suit without compromise. The new ladies Sand two-piece textile suit ($TBA) builds upon the success of REV’IT’s Sand 2 men’s suit but adds the female-friendly features demanded by the riders whose input went directly into its construction.

The changes begin with a slight reduction in overall venting, effectively saving weight by eliminating ventilation that was deemed superfluous by the riders polled. Both the pants and jacket were then heavily tailored to better fit the female form, all the while ensuring even more adjustability. The waist cinch, for example, can move vertically more than eight inches to fit women with long torsos, short torsos, and everything in between.

Finally, REV’IT has something for all riders in the form of a new line of riding jeans engineered for the purpose without losing the look or feel you might want from regular street clothes.

Starting at $199.99, these riding pants manage to look and feel “correct” but all fully dedicated to riding, with all the features one might find on REV’IT’s traditional textile riding pants, including Knox CE armor, reinforced impact areas, retroreflective and Coolmax breathable elements and triple-needle-stitched main seams.

And most importantly, the pants are tailored to fit while on the bike, even including details such as angled belt loops for a more comfortable fit while riding.
