Ride in Peace: Custom motorcycle builder Christian Clayton

The custom bike building community is mourning the loss of Sucker Punch Sally’s co-owner Christian Clayton, who died in his sleep Sept. 9. He was 40.

Clayton’s wife found him dead at 9 a.m. that morning. The cause of his death is unknown and an autopsy was to be performed, according to the Cyril Huze blog.

Clayton co-owned Sucker Punch Sally’s in Scottsdale, Ariz., with his father, Gerl. They bought the company from its Ohio founders and expanded the brand to a line of alcoholic energy drinks and a line of moonshine.

In addition to his wife and father, Clayton is survived by four children.
