FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Funeral services are set for May 12 for Mark Hulsey, owner of Hellbender Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of Cartersville, who died May 5.
“Mark had a passion for Harley-Davidson from a young age. He bought his first Harley-Davidson at the age of 16 - a 1955 Panhead that Mark rode to school daily,” according to a statement on the dealer’s website.
Hulsey joined the Small organization in 1986 when Earl Small acquired his first dealership in Marietta, Ga. He became the dealer principal for Hellbender Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of Cartersville in 2003.
“Mark leaves behind friends, employees and customers that meant a lot to him. He will be greatly missed,” said Penny Golden, general manager at Harley-Davidson of Cartersville.
Mark Hulsey is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and three children Kimberly, Christopher and Michael. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. May 12 at Christ The Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund to help fight kidney disease.
