MAGNOLIA, Texas – A memorial is scheduled Sunday for Jeffrey "Conrad" Nicklus, son of custom motorcycle builder Jeff Nicklus. The 25-year-old died suddenly July 15.
The senior Jeff Nicklus owns Jeff Nicklus Customs and Desperado Motorcycles. Conrad worked with his father and became known as "Little Desman" at their custom motorcycle companies, according to the Montgomery County Courier.
The Cyril Huze Blog notes that Conrad, while still in school, had opened a manufacturing company called Impressive Motorsports LLC. The blog also includes a letter from parents Cindy and Jeff Nicklus.
Conrad was born Easter Sunday, April 19, 1987. He grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, graduating in 2006 from The Woodlands High School. He was to graduate from the School of Business at Sam Houston State University in December.
A celebration of Conrad's life will be held at 3 p.m. July 22 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Conrad's favorite color was red and the family encourages those attending to wear something red.
