RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Memorial services will be held this weekend in Southern California for Vance Michael Plumb, a service technician for Top 100 Dealer Skip Fordyce Harley-Davidson in Riverside, Calif.  Plumb was 22.

“Vance will be remembered throughout our dealership for his quirky sense of humor, excellent personality and dedication to the sport of motorcycling,” the dealership posted on its Facebook page. “He was a three-time Rock Star Award winner for customer service, and overall, a great, young, aspiring technician. Vance will be missed deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”

The dealership will close for one day on Saturday, June 8, for Plumb’s visitation and funeral service, which will be held at Montecito Valley View Chapel in Colton, Calif.

Plumb was killed May 31 after his motorcycle reportedly collided with two vehicles on Interstate 215 in Grand Terrace, Calif., according to local authorities.
