WHITTIER, Calif. - Rivera Primo’s new open belt drives for Harley-Davidson touring models come as a narrow fit so they can be bolted on and used with floorboards.

Made for model years 2007 and newer, Primo’s open belt drive comes with a 3/8-in.-thick billet aluminum outer guard and the company’s Rivera Pro Clutch. The setup uses a high-performance, severe duty 8mm drive belt and Primo’s forged 6061 aluminum pulleys.

The motorplate is machined from a solid block of 6061 billet aluminum and includes the heel toe shifter shaft support which will unscrew from the motorplate for applications without floorboards.

The outer guard is intricately carved from billet aluminum stock and comes show polished or in matte black, according to the company.
