LOS ALAMITOS, Ca. - New from Roland Sands Design are the company’s Pro Step handlebars and Nostalgia risers.
The Pro Step is a factory motocross-inspired bar with a thick 1.25 in. base and 1 in. upper section. The company’s unique machined billet ring allows two different finishes on one handlebar, RSD reports.
What fitments does RSD offer? How about the following sizes for the Pro Step bars:
- 4 in. — 32 in. wide X 4 in. rise, 6 1/8 in. center width, 2.75 in. pullback (picture at right)
- 6.5 in. — 32 1/3 in. wide X 6.5 in. total rise, 4.5 in. end rise X 6.5 in. center width X 4 in. pullback
- 12 in. — 34 in. wide X 12 in. total rise, 7 5/8 in. end rise X 6.5 in. center width X 4 in. pullback
The Pro Step bars are slotted and drilled for internal wiring. The bars require the use of RSD’s Nostalgia 1.25 in. risers or any other aftermarket riser of the same size.
Speaking of the Nostalgia risers, RSD offers these pieces in a two bolt and four bolt setup that matches the company’s entire Nostalgia line. According to the folks at RSD, these risers are tough, simple and effective.
The four bolt model is available in 1 in. and 1.25 in. diameter for use on the Pro Step handlebars or other bars with the same diameter size clamping area.
The Nostalgia risers CNC machined from billet aluminum. They include stainless steel hardware, and are drilled and tapped for 1/2 in.-13 mounting bolts.
