West Virginia will start a new rally tradition June 23 to 26 when the first Rumble in the Valley rolls into Martinsburg with live entertainment, contests, camping and more.

"We wanted to create a true motorcycle rally and attract bikers from up and down the mid-Atlantic and beyond to Martinsburg," Mike McBrearty, of Harley Construction and one of the Rumble coordinators, said in a press release. "We plan on making this one of West Virginia's best biker rallies. More importantly, we wanted to raise money for local charities, namely Kids for Christmas, which helps provide local children and their families with gifts and meals that they would not have otherwise."

WV Rumble in the Valley is an adults-only event (ages 18 and older) and will feature national recording artists Blackfoot. Other bands include: Citizens Band Radio, Led Zepplin tribute band Kashmir, Surreal, Asylum, Crossbonz, Blackwater Still, Defyance, Stoked and other bands. The rally will include contests, scenic rides, wrestling and a bike rodeo.

Tickets are $25 per person per day or $50 for a weekend pass; camping is $30 per day or $75 for a weekend site.
