S&P Harley Davidson in Williamstown, Ga., will celebrate its grand opening this weekend with a dealership party and motorcycle rally.
"Thunder Road Madness" this Friday, Saturday and Sunday will feature dealership tours, vendors, a karaoke challenge, live bands, games, bikini and bicep contests, winding up with a benefit run Sunday benefiting a children’s diabetes camp charity. Event tickets are available for $15 at the dealership; there is a separate fee for the Sunday run.
"This is simply an exciting time for us to share a dream that was years in the making," S&P co-owner Patsy Hardy said in a press release. "When we purchased the Williamstown property, we always had plans to begin holding 'Thunder Road Madness' and (we're) expecting guests numbering in the thousands."
There will be a drawing for a Harley Davidson V-Rod motorcycle, valued at more than $13,700. Anyone with a wristband ticket for the event is automatically entered.
