Journalists and Taiwan executives will discuss Taiwanese manufacturing trends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. tomorrow. A one-hour networking meeting will follow.
- Elina Lee, director of the Chicago office of TAITRA, Taiwan's international trade organization, will introduce the two-panel program. She will be followed by Cindy Wu, TAITRA senior project manager, who will talk about Taiwan's new branding initiatives.
- Michael Kovalio, marketing director of NCL Media, will deliver the keynote presentation, "Taiwan's Competitive Advantage and Current Trends in the Powersports Industry." NCL Media has been retained by TAITRA to help market the country's trade program.
- Following the keynote, several U.S. news media representatives (including Dealernews senior editor Guido Ebert) will participate in panel discussion, "What You Don't Know About Doing Business in the Powersports Business. Other panelists include Dennis Cox, senior ATV editor at Dirt Wheels, April Whitney, senior editor of Scoot! magazine, and Robin Hartfiel, editor of V-Twin magazine (Hartfiel will also moderate).
- A second panel discussion on Taiwanese powersports brands will include Charles Huang, vice president of Gamax Motors, George Lin, president of Taiwan Golden Bee Co., and representatives from KYMCO and SYM.
The presentations and panel discussions will be held in Meeting Room 2 in the Lucas Oil Stadium.
