SAN JOSE, Calif. - Sena Technologies, best known for its Bluetooth-integrated range of communication accessories, has launched a range of all-new Bluetooth devices that will begin shipping starting in early 2014.

The new additions include the 20S headset, the all-new Prism Bluetooth Action Camera, the Bluetooth Pack for GoPro cameras, and the Bluetooth Mic & Intercom.

The new products all build upon Sena’s use of Bluetooth technology to offer all-new features as well as improved range, multi-user intercom capabilities, and audio quality.

The all-new Sena 20S ($299) is a powersports Bluetooth communication system that provides a sleek design using Sena’s unique jog dial to maximize the ease of use for riders.

Sena claims the 20S features several industry firsts for the motorcycle Bluetooth headset market, including the introduction of Bluetooth 4.0 technology with dual Bluetooth communication modules. The new Bluetooth technology increases the performance and reliability of the headset while also allowing for high-definition audio quality.

Thanks to an audio multitasking feature, the rider will receive a more seamless blend of incoming and outgoing audio to create a mixed audio experience as compared to the usual audio interruptions from multiple sources. Voice commands have also been built into the 20S to ensure riders can maintain hands-free control while riding. Users can call hands-free with their Bluetooth mobile phone, listen to stereo music, FM radio or voice instructions of GPS navigation by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with a passenger or other riders.

The Sena Prism Bluetooth Action Camera ($399) is claimed to be the first camera on the market to make extensive use of Bluetooth technology. The new action camera is Bluetooth 4.0-capable with 1080p HD video recording and Bluetooth-based remote control and voice prompts.

The Bluetooth function of the camera is exclusive to Sena devices and allows the user to control the camera with Bluetooth capabilities such as remote voice recording, remote control and useful voice feedback from the camera, such as memory or battery reminaing.

For motorcycle riders, Sena provides the Quick Release Motorcycle Mounting system, which enables riders to quickly attach and detach the camera to change the view through the use of a variety of mounting options.

For riders who’ve already purchased a powersports camera, Sena has an option for them as well. The Sena Bluetooth Pack for GoPro ($99) is a specially designed adapter for the GoPro Hero3 camera creating a unit that provides Bluetooth capabilities.

The new unit is designed to connect to both Sena and non-Sena Bluetooth units allowing users to record audio to accompany the video. The Sena Bluetooth Pack allows for voice recording from Bluetooth headsets and receives up to four microphone inputs with a conference intercom feature. The unit is ideal for group adventures and helps enhance video by allowing voice recordings to narrate the video and capture the entire experience.

The Sena Bluetooth Mic & Intercom ($149) is a compact, lightweight microphone that allows users the functionality of making intercom calls. The unit also functions as a microphone when paired with a Sena Prism Bluetooth Action Camera or Sena Bluetooth Pack for GoPro, offering the ability for voice recording to accompany the videos.

The Sena Bluetooth Mic & Intercom allows for up to a four-way intercom conference and features voice prompts for ease of use while riding.
