AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE SPECIALTIES has revamped its line of Comfort Max gel pads to include the company’s tailbone notch on all five models, and add a layer of memory foam to the top and bottom of the pad.

According to the company the Comfort Max gel pads are built to feature an advanced viscoelastic molded gel core — like the kind used in medical and sports applications — that’s sandwiched between the memory foam. The design is said to help eliminate pressure points and hot spots, and can absorb vibrations and small bumps.

The whole thing is then covered in sheepskin for long distance comfort, the company reports, noting that sheepskin allows air to circulate in hot weather and offers warmth in the cold. The pads have a rubberized bottom surface to prevent them from sliding off a motorcycle seat, and come with a removable strap.

The pads are available in five sizes and come with a 30-day no-hassle return policy.
