CALABASAS, Calif. - Shoei has taken the wraps off a range of new colorways and graphics for its 2013 helmet lineup across both street and off-road models. The new line was announced this week by distributor Helmet House.
The mega-makeover spreads across most of Shoei’s range. Here are the highlights:
The Neotec modular helmet comes in a matte deep gray in addition to the high vis Borealis (shown at right.)
This flip-up model comes in sizes XS-2XL, and features a five-year warranty.
The VFX-W Krack off-road lid is a wild-child of splashy graphics in three colorways, and the VFX-W Werx is now available in a Josh Grant graphic.
The Qwest Prestige (right) is Shoei’s tribute to those paragons of American symbolism, the Stars and Stripes, accompanied by a bald eagle blasting down out of the sky. The Qwest is a touring lid cousin to the RF-1100 sport helmet that is said to be 1.2 dB more quiet. It is also Snell 2010 compliant.
