BELDING, Mich. - A new parts and accessories store is starting out with the basics for motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles, but plans to add a full line of parts and customizing goodies soon.
Short Stop Motorcycle Parts and Accessories offers everything from exhausts, rims and seats, and plans to add tires and more. Items that are not in the store can be ordered and shipped within a day or two.
Owners Craig Gill and Levi Herroon are longtime riders who both own Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Gill has been in the motorcycle parts business for about three years, selling nationally and internationally on the Internet.
“We’re trying to bring people from West Michigan to Belding,” he told the Ionia Sentinel-Standard.
The business’ grand opening will take place July 9-10, and will showcase Paul Teutul Jr.’s motorcycle built for the March of Dimes beginning at 5 p.m. Monday. The shop plans to host Bike nights every Thursday beginning July 12, sponsored by The Chosen Ones motorcycle club.
