A collapsing roof scattered customers and employees at Northstar Powersports & Marine in Albert Lea, Minn., Friday afternoon, but nobody was harmed.
The Albert Lea Fire Department told a local newspaper it was this large snow drift on the roof that caused it to collapse. The building is made of wooden beams and trusses with a sheet metal exterior.
The collapse happened at about 3:23 p.m. Owner Craig Stickford met with his employees, family members and an insurance agent outside the store after the collapse.
