Stahlbus drain valve cleans up oil changes

NEW FROM GERMANY, Stahlbus has a new oil drain valve that's designed to replace a motorcycle's existing drain screw and make oil changing more convenient.

According to the company, the valve — now available here in the U.S. — helps eliminate the spills and mess often associated with oil changes.

Here's how it works: When changing the oil, the user removes the cap from the valve and attaches the hose connector via a quick-release mechanism. When it's locked in place, the valve opens, allowing the oil to be drained. Once the oil is drained, the user disconnects the hose connector and the valve closes automatically. The user then re-installs the capon the valve.

The valve is available in a variety of thread sizes.
