STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Bikers For Bini event Aug. 25 at The Staten Island Mall will benefit the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, which supports the community with scholarships and special needs grants.

The event will feature a musical performance from former NY Yankee Center Fielder Bernie Williams, a motorcycle run with more than 1,300 participants expected, a classic car show with more than 300 already registered, live monster truck racing, food, vendors, musical performances on two stages, a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Raffle, and more.

“The response we’ve received is overwhelming and truly humbling at the same time,” said Massimo DiDonna, chairman and president of the fund. “It’s taken months of preparation, and we could not have done it without the help of our local businesses, our sponsors, our board members and, of course, our partnership with The Staten Island Mall.”

The Rescue 5 Fire Truck, which responded to the terrorist attacks on 9/11, will also be on display, making this visit the truck’s first trip back to New York since being decommissioned in 2011.

Tickets to the event are $20, available in advance and at the door. To enter for a chance to win free general admission tickets, text the word BINI to 313131. A winner will be notified via text every 24 hours. For tickets, event schedule, and more information see www.BiniFund.org
