BREA, Calif. – Suzuki Motor of America Inc. has unveiled two more 2014 models, including the completely redesigned Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS and the Burgman 200 ABS scooter. MSRPs for both models are forthcoming.

Suzuki went back to the drawing board for the latest incarnation of the V-Strom 1000 ABS, starting with a larger, 1037cc fuel-injected engine. It also boasts Suzuki’s first traction control system on a production bike. Other updates to the V-Strom 1000 include the fuel injectors, magneto, idle speed control, radiator, clutch, transmission, exhaust and suspension.

The V-Strom 1000 ABS will arrive in Suzuki dealerships in the spring of 2014 along with an Adventure model with purpose-built hard luggage.

From a big adventure bike to a compact commuter, Suzuki also introduced the Burgman 200 ABS scooter. The entry-level machine includes some of the same technology as its bigger Suzuki siblings, including fuel injection and ABS.

For riders who prefer a little more speed, Suzuki is debuting a 2014 Hayabusa 50th Anniversary Edition model with a red and black color scheme. It joins the extremely limited-run GSX-R1000 SE as part of Suzuki’s 50th anniversary lineup.

Suzuki has also announced that they will be offering attendees of the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows a chance to win a custom-painted Boulevard C90T B.O.S.S. designed by Hart & Huntington.
