JINAN, China - Suzuki Motor Corp. suspended operations at one of its motorcycle plants in China Tuesday after anti-Japanese demonstrations took place in that country.
Operations at the plant in Jinan, Shandong province, were halted for the day as a precautionary measure, said Ei Mochizuki, a Suzuki spokesman in Tokyo.
It was unclear whether the plant would reopen Wednesday.
