Cam Arnold has joined the Motorcycle Industry Council as vice president, communications. She will be responsible for all corporate communications among the associations affiliated with the MIC and she also will oversee research and statistics.
Arnold has more than 18 years of experience with American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC). Among many corporate duties, she led ASMC’s marine division, oversaw automotive marketing and communications, as well as motorcycle and ATV communications.
“I will be working with MIC members on a variety of projects to help expand our communications reach, explore new communication technologies, integrate significant research and customer data into our key messages and build synergy and consensus among our many voices,” Arnold said.
Long-time MIC staff member Mike Mount has transitioned to director, aftermarket programs, and will work on member services and growing the membership. He has worked in the powersports industry for 19 years, the past nine with the MIC years. Most recently, Mount served as director, communications, and was a key member of the Discover Today's Motorcycling team.
Prior to the MIC, Mount held various marketing and product development positions at the U.S. headquarters of Suzuki and Kawasaki.
“Having worked with MIC's communications team over the past several years, I've enjoyed a great deal of interaction with the MIC Aftermarket Committee and MIC Board of Directors,” Mount said. “I look forward to meeting many more of our valued members, learning about their changing needs and ensuring that the MIC remains a great resource for them all.”
