Taiwan-based manufacturer TGB wants to establish a trio of regional distributors in the United States. Short of doing that, the company — which started out by producing parts for Piaggio — will form its own U.S. branch to import its lineup of scooters and ATVs.

Jerry Yeh, TGB's U.S. sales rep, said distributors would be based in the West, the Southeast and the Northeast. The company's current distributor is Cobra Scooters (AKA Pierspeed).

For Indy, TGB was showing its 250cc Xmotion scooter, which features front and rear disc brakes, dual rear suspension and underseat storage spacious enough to hold two full-face helmets. Also on display was the Blade 525 utility ATV. This quad is designed specifically for the U.S. market and features independent rear suspension.

The company's old Key West scooter has been rebranded the Octane, and has received new colors that give it a European flair.
