WICHITA, Kan. – Authorities in Wichita are looking for the suspect or suspects who broke into Mid America Powersports twice in one month.

Dealer principal Ross Reed said the break-ins were identical: the thieves got up on the roof and cut a small hole in the exact same spot, and then lowered themselves to the warehouse floor. That's about a 20-foot drop.

"Possibly hand to hand down the beams or the cables, very risky, very very risky," Reed told KAKE. "It just really just aggravates you. It's the second time in 30 days and it is just really upsetting."

In the second burglary, the thieves stole a green 2014 Kawasaki Teryx four-seat UTV, a blue and white Yamaha TTR 50, and a bright orange KTM 65 SX bike, valued at about $24,000. That’s after another $20,000 from the first burglary, and two separate roof repairs.

Reed is  asking anyone who has any information to call him or Crimestoppers at -316-267-2111.
