ROME, Italy - Harley-Davidson fans from all over the world took part as Pope Francis blessed thousands of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and riders in Vatican City Sunday.
"Our promise to our customers is to offer them once-in-a-lifetime experiences that few other brands can fulfill," said Mark-Hans Richer, chief marketing officer. "Having our customers treated to the blessing today fulfills that promise of epic adventures."
During the mass, Pope Francis thanked everyone participating in Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary celebrations in Rome.
The four-day event, which wrapped up June 17, marks the European leg of Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary, a yearlong series of global celebrations.
