ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Pretty much everything is new at Thunderbird Harley-Davidson after four months of work to expand the store with a café and lounge, training facility and more.

The dealership added about 7,000 sq. ft. to the showroom in the remodel. Also part of the $1 million renovation, the service department got new bays and lighting, and a service area was created for customers. New paint colors were applied with new flooring, graphics and fixtures throughout the facility, according to Albuquerque Business First. Other improvements included a new customer entrance, a training facility and refinishing and expanding the parking lot.

A grand reopening event is scheduled for March 22-24, with giveaways and auctions for used motorcycles.

Beginning March 11, the store will have new operating hours. New store hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with service hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Both the store and service department will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
