Tigra Tsujikawa new brand director for Advanstar Powersports Group

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Tigra Tsujikawa, former marketing manager with the American Motorcyclist Association, has joined Advanstar as brand director for the company's Powersports Group. Advanstar is the parent company of Dealernews.

Tsujikawa will lead the content, industry marketing message, senior industry relationships and attendee experience for the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows and Dealer Expo, the company announced. She will be based in Advanstar's Santa Monica headquarters office.

Tsujikawa is an experienced motorcyclist and a veteran senior marketer in the industry, with 14 years of marketing leadership with OEMs, aftermarket manufacturers and associations. She most recently served as marketing manager of the AMA's affinity programs. She also has been a leader of women's motorcycling, as well as the driver of the AMA's International Women and Motorcycling Conference and AMA Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies.

"Tigra is well-known to many of the leaders of the powersports Industry. Her passion and deep understanding of the needs of riders, OEMs, aftermarket manufacturers and dealers will play a major part in the continued expansion of our powersports products. Tigra will add integrity and strategic planning skills to our event content and she will lead many of our relationships with industry partners," said Advanstar executive vice president Danny Phillips.
